Two-part Backbend Workshop
Sunday 21st and 28th January.
1 – 4pm
Backbends open the thoracic spine and shoulders bringing freedom of movement and a sense of lightness and ease. Backbends are reknown for their ability to uplift the spirit and can alleviate melancholy. Quite simply, backbends make you feel good!
The first workshop we will focus on lots of shoulder opening and front groin opening in preparation for the 'baby backbends'. Workshop number two we will further prepare for the more advanced backbends such as Urdhva Danurasana. These workshops will however be accessible for any of our regularly attending students. Just not suitable for newer beginners, sorry. My intention is to teach this as a two-part workshop, therefore preference is given to those who can attend both workshops. If you can't make both workshops and if space allows, it may be possible to attend just one. If in doubt of suitability or to put your name down on a wait list for just one workshop, please email email@example.com
