Within the spaciousness of this workshop there will be time to deeply quieten and internally reflect on the year that has been and perhaps gently create personal intentions for the year ahead.
We will work into a sequence of seated hip openers, forward bends and twists to ease tight tissue and congestion in the legs, hips and lower back. We will take time to quieten with supported postures (including supported inversions) and look at how to set up for siddhasana (sitting posture) so the energetic support is there for the spine. We will spend a few quiet moments sitting together (meditation experience is not required).
We will conclude with a long, quiet savasana.
Suitable for regularly attending Iyengar yoga students of all levels. Not suitable for newer beginners, sorry.
