Tessa is excited to teach this four-day spring workshop that will allow us to delve deeper into the how of practice. We'll be looking at how to work action against restraint – or resistance – to create energetic support. Working through a broad range of asana groups including standing poses, forward bends, twists and inversions we will investigate how we can find stability, particularly for the spine, by working action against restraint.
Yoga is an art and we are always looking to deepen our understanding through the process of feeling. We develop this understanding in classes and in our own practice; however, the workshops (and retreats) really allow for a more concentrated access to learning – continuity really helps.
Tessa strongly encourages our regularly attending Level 2&3 students to join this workshop. She has been seeing the benefits of these extended workshops in the practice of our student community and sees this one as being particularly valuable. Level 1 students who have been practicing consistently with us for some time – and perhaps feeling ready for L2 classes – are welcome to email
Tessa to see if the workshop could be suitable.
Let's bring some inspiration, momentum and energy into our practice as we make our way toward the year's end.
You must sign-in to book a spot in this class.
