As Matariki rises in the winter sky, we're invited to look back on the year that's passed and forward to the one ahead. It's a perfect moment to pause, reflect, and renew.
This workshop is designed to open and gently energise the body while quieting the mind, a perfect way to rebalance at the Māori New Year.
We'll begin with a gentle asana practice, opening into the upper back, shoulders and hips, a quiet practice to deeply release tension and tightness. From there, we'll take the openness of the chest into pranayama and the quietness into meditation. We'll explore how closely observing the breath can bring us more fully into the present moment, before concluding with a long and deep savasana.
